Rabia Nasim

To say that Rabia has a BIG voice is putting it mildly. Describing herself as a soul singer with a bit of jazz and blues thrown in, she has the vocal power to knock you sideways! Her gutsy voice is full of warm tones with enough raw bite to make you sit up and take notice. Rabia writes her own material penned from the heart and is hoping to complete her debut album before Easter. Her songs burst forth with life experiences, love and pushing through the dark times; always looking for answers with a sense of hope.
With interest from Universal Records, sheis currently mapping out a her next career move - hopefully an EP launch showcase and with more gigs to follow,"Right now, it's all about singing, writing and meeting people."

Ola has been singing professionally for the past 6 years with The Belgian Sweets, performing what she describes as 'acoustic pop', a blend of pop, jazz , with a bit of Polish folk thrown in. They first formed in Belgium where Ola was studying and have just released their debut album Island Girl, which has been heavily promoted in Poland. Ola's haunting vocal style mixes beautifully with the music to create an album of gentle chill-out songs.

Stephen Long

Stephen Long stands is an accoustic singer/songwriter who refuses compromise his own sense of self - whether it be through his lyrics or simply the desire to sing with his own accent. He says his songs are about imagined ideals or daydreams, rather than big global issues; the smaller things in life. With titles like Candyfloss, Passport Photographs and Biscuit Tin, you get a sense of someone who is an acute observer of everyday details - a person who sees the beauty and humour in our chaotic lives. His songs have a gentle spirit which lift you up onto a lighter plane, they take to you a better place.

Hear Jo sing Impossible
Jo Ferguson started a girl group when she was fifteen and busked her way around Manchester. She then sang regularly in her local pub from which she signed with her first agent. From there she gigged around Manchester for several years until she moved to London to train as an actor - not bad going for an eighteen year old!
Now in her early twenties, her aim is to move into session singing and she is currently working on her demo to pitch to agents. Jo says that her influences are Gladys Knight, The Supremes, Jeff Buckley, Neil Young, Leona Lewis, "...anything with passion and guts!" We like the sound of that!

Beatie Wolfe

Songwriting is not just a passion for Beatie Wolfe, it's a calling. A dedicated singer-songwriter with a haunting voice and masses of unbridled energy, her beautiful melodies twist their way around stories of regret, light and shade, pain and growth. "Singing for me is an art of expression and expression through words that must be chosen carefully and articulated clearly and purely." Beatie says.
Currently a solo performer, she says that although it is a lonelier path, the pay-off for going it alone is greater creative control over her work. She finds that the initial song-writing just pours out of her, but it's the fine tuning that's the tough stuff - learning when something isn't working and how a whole song can spin on the axis of just one word.
